Only a few days after Rusty finished his medication, he started
peeing on the floor again. Sigh!
I just talked to the vet and he agreed that Rusty should go back on the
Clomicalm - an antidepressant.  He is going to see if he can find a generic
form of the drug so it will be cheaper for me. He said Rusty may have to
be on this drug long term.
Anybody have experience with long term use of this drug?

At least no more diarrhea so far since Rusty was put on prescription I/D.
I just ordered a second case of the food for him.

Please continue to purr for Rusty. He is certainly a high maintenance cat
and the costs of keeping him healthy keep rising.
What is an out of work Meowmie to do? Maybe I need the antidepressant
too.

Purrs for both you and Rusty.  I wouldn't be surprised if being out out of
work, as well as other stresses, could make you a bit depressed.

How much is the clomicalm? Maybe you should try a couple of Feliway
diffusers to see if it would help. these guys ship to Canada

It does help with anxiety. Purrs that the diarrhea keeps away. That is much
harder to figure out if it continues.

I found a place that is cheaper than ValleyVet and I was surprised.
Even with shipping vs. no shipping from Valley Vet it was cheaper.

&itemID=2850 (sorry for the wrap. I was lazy and didn't put it in
tinyurl.com)

I got 6 at once to get the cheaper price, and shipping was still
under US $5 for all of them.
