Heard there have been Bushfires on the outskirts of Perth.

Hoping you & yours are OK, and not too smoke affected.

Thanks - we're all OK here. There's thick smoke all over this side of
Perth, but the fires have been a good 15-20km away from where we are.
They're in an area which is mostly State forest and orchard properties.
It's a really beautiful area for bushwalking, but thankfully not heavily
populated. I'm afraid I don't get home from work early enough for the
main news broadcast, so I really don't know whether the fires are under
control yet, but I would guess the chances of that are improving; the
wind has now dropped down to almost nothing, and the weather forecast
tomorrow is much cooler.
