Sam has decided that the newspapers on the floor pose a threat to me. He
will put his head into the pile of papers looking for the ones that need
killing. After finding the right ones he will bite them and then poke his
head between the sheets of paper to check his progress. After they are spread
all over the room he runs over them. I'm trying to do my part to keep the
house safe by limiting the size of the newspaper pile.

Harmony (RB) discovered that a stack of newspapers makes a great toboggan.
She kept on getting a running start, leaping onto the stack, and riding
the top newspaper(s) on a big SLIIIIIDE across the front of the living
room.
By the time she was done, the pile was pretty much slid down to nothing
and the entire front of the living room looked like it'd been carpeted in
newspaper.
I never did reprimand her for this little stunt, though. Mostly, that's
because I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard. I also figured that it's
no good to try and scold a cat when you're laughing uncontrollably. It
just sends mixed messages and confuses the cat. :o)
