Harumph.... First, Meowmie takes me to TED early yesterday morning without
giving me any brekfust first, and wouldn't listen to me when I told her I
REALLY wanted to go straight back home again. She didn't come back for me
until this morning. And in the meantimes, I had to spend the whole NIGHT in
a cage in this smelly TED office. I can't remember all of what happened
while I wuz there, which iz probably good, now that I think about it.  I
woke up feeling sore, and SOMEBODY shaved off some of the fur on my tummy,
right where I feel sore!  Of all the nerve! Don't they know we're having a
cold spell, around here?  And you know what? I think there were some dogses
there, too.  I could hear the brutes barking, although fortunately, none of
them got loose to come where I wuz.  They all sounded like they wuz hungry
for a pussycat snak.  I could hardly sleep, especially without Mama there to
curl up with me.

I wuz so glad to see Meowmie this morning, when she came to pick me up! And
it seemed she was glad to see me, too.  She said she wuz  sorry she'd left
me at TED's overnight.  I talked to her all the way home in the vibrating
thing. It wuz good to get away from the dogses, I'll tell you. They are so
NOISY!

At first I was glad to see Mama, and she sniffed me all over the place.  But
then she hissed at me!  Right in my face. And when I went over to her a
little while later, she hissed at me  again, and even growled.  I felt so
hurt!  Mama's NEVER hissed at me before! I thott she would have missed me!
Unka Pan growled too, but then he iz an old growch, and he growlz whenever
he comz home from TED's.  I'm sticking close to Meowmie today, because  she
duzn't growl at me, and act like I smell bad to her. I just wunder if Mama
will ever like me, again.  I'd rather sleep curled up next to Mama  than
anybody else in the wurld. And nobuddy else in the wurld knows how to play
with me better than Mama. Do you all think she'll ever like me again? =o(

Sad Nina.

Don't worry Nina,

You just smell a bit funny from being at TED, and your meowmie
remembers that smell.  Have a good wash and in a while she'll like you
again.

Yes, she will. Our adoptive mamma Luna hissed at us when we came back
from TED's too, but she got used to us and loved us again.

aw, poor little Nina. Don't worry, your Mama will love you again as soon as
the funny TED smells disappear, and they will soon. Just stick to your
Meowmie for now, she loves you, you know.

Poor little Nina puss!    I guarantee she'll like you again, soon!  In
the meantime, get your hoomin Meowmie to spoil you rotten. ;)

I agree wid Theresa. Stick w/the hoomin for today. Their sense of smell
is so pitiful, she can't smell the TED on you. And she'll feel sowwy
fer you fer bein at TED, so she'll be xxtra nice to you.

I'm sure your mama will curl with you again after you stop smelling
differently.
Lots of healing purrs and gentle hugs,

"Melissa Houle" <melissa.houle@worldnet.att.net> had some very
interesting things to say about Suddenly I'm Miss Unpopularity:

I'm sure she will, dear, once you don't smell like the TED's office
any more.

Felix, hoping you stop being sore soon

Poor little Nina, what and ordeal! Don't worry, soon the smell from TED
will go away from you and your Mama will play with you again.

While you're waiting for the TED scent to wear off, now's your chance to
shadow your Meowmy around and make her feel guilty for leaving you in that
horrid place to begin with. Think of all the extra attention and treats
you'll be able to coax out of her that way!

The scent will go away soon enough and then everything will go back to
normal.

Meowmies
