Well,  No fever or weight loss.  But, 2 very swolen lymph nodes, one in the
neck & one in the hind leg.  My vet is'nt 100% sure what the cause is &
does'nt like the idea of more antibiotics...But, that's what we're doing.
10 days of amoxicillin & continue to moniter.  Hope this is the last round
of anti-bios for the kid  (It's round 3 in 8 weeks)... Once it's done,
Herbal Medecine trained dad will start boosting her immune system.

My vet was kind & called this visit a 'progress check', costs half of a
consult visit... Thank's Sarah!!!

When I was in college, I had an infection like a sinus infection. Was given
antibiotics and things seemed to clear up. Suddenly I had lumps in my
armpit. Scared me to death, but it ended up being that the infection had
just been chased to another part of my body. A different type of antibiotic
was given and it did clear up. So it could be that she just hasn't shaken
that darned infection yet. Purrs purrs purrs that she clears up soon.

Aww, poor baby and poor wallet, too (been there, still doing it).  With all
the antibiotics have you inquired about adding some acidophilus or probiotic
stuff to her food - by now all the good intestinal flora must have died off.
I've done this with my cats when they've been on antibiotics and I think it
helps stave off some of the gastric upsets.
Many purrs for her recovery and yay for your vet.

Thanks... I had her on acidophilus after the last cycle of antibiotics
ended.... No point while she's on them now...But as soon as this ends it's
back on it, as well as Astragulus to stimulate her immune system.
