Joe Kitty chose my husband as his human.
That's that, no matter how the DH denies it.
Joe greets him at the door, follows him around like a puppy, and jumps into
his lap every time DH dares to sit still.
The other day, Joe went so far as to follow DH around to the letter of his
morning routine, including going into the bathroom, standing on the scale,
and then sitting on the toilet. He did not get into the shower.

Your husband didn't get into the shower or Joe Kitty didn't? LOL

What a surprise when Joe finally does enter the shower. Mouse does this
to me too. One day I was in the shower stall and over the top of the
door comes a grey tabby right into the shower. To my surprise she just
stood there getting wet. It never fazed her a bit. But that's the only
time she's jumped into the shower. Now Psycho will stand outside the
shower stall with a worried look on her face. One day I started licking
my arm to show her what's going on and she seemed to get it. Now she
just watches.

That's funny, Bob! When Persia peeks around the shower curtain, or if I'm
the tub, she leans over and licks my leg... that water doesn't belong there,
Mommy, let me help you get it off! Luckily she hasn't ever tried that when
I'm still covered in soap :)

For me it's always cute that i'll be relaxing in a warm bath and
suddenly I see two paws on the edge of the tub as Mischief peeks in.
She sniffs and then looks at me like she cannot fathom why I would
submerge myself in WATER!! Then she walks away with her tail held
high, in a "Hmph!" expression

Felix hops right up on the edge of the tub and asks to be petted. He
also seems to think a tub Mommy's in is a great water dish. ;-)
