Meowmie says I have to wait until she feels fit. She's very tired. Italongwhile since she went to work just lately. She fell asleep at 6pm last night on the settee and do you know what, I snuggled between her knees and went to sleep for an hour and she didn't even know!. I caught a mousie in the night, and put it on the carpet for meowmie to admire. It was a long-tailed field mouse (also known as a wood mouse). It isn't a mousie that normally goes in the house. I've not caught any mousies, but dere are a few here dat we kitties like to kill at least once a day. Most of dem are furry, but one is smooth and squeaky, one is smooth and has a jingly-beel on it's tail. Da fuzzy ones rattle. My sister Moe caught a KRIKET once - she ate it, too. She said it didn't taste very good, but she liked da crunchy it made when she chomped on it. All she left was a leg, dat Mommy found in da morning. Mommy knew it was Moe dat ate it, cuz she saw Moe playing with it the night before. She gave Moe a pat on da hed for catching it, saying dat "it's one less chirpy thing in da hows". I like to nap with my Mommy too. And my Daddy. It gets nice & warm when dere's a bunch of kitties & Mommy and Daddy. Daddy came home from his work early, saying he didn't feel good, so he was gonna go take a nap. I'm gonna go help keep him warm & purr dat he feels better (I think dat Moe, Ernie & Weeble are already in dere). Mimi >> Mimi here, just wanting to check in. I waited outside in the wind for ages to catch that mousie and what happened as thanks? She picked it up by the tail and threw in the bin :-( She's much larger than me, so maybe she needs something a bit bigger to eat. Meowmie says I can write to Mimi today, so I'm going to do that now, and then go out and see if there's any ratties about.for a bigger snack as a thank you. I'd like to get her a skwerl but I've not been able to catch one yet. Boyfriend Boyfriend, your poor meowmie is tired. It's so nice of you that you snuggled and helped her sleep, she really needs the rest. You are a very understanding kitty. Ask your Mommy if you > don't want to talk about him. The D-thing, too. ;) Ping is doing good - not as noisy as when he first chose us, but still lets out a loud one every once in a while. He filled in nicely, and his fur has sleeked up (not too mention almost grown back to normal where the too-tight flea collar was when when he showed up). He likes to sleep in my rocking chair, so I bought a kitty-bed to put there. He also is very helpful when tying shoes - or at least he thinks he is. He is a funny dritter though - likes to go limp when he's picked up, so it's like picking up a furr-coverd sack of cat-bones.
