Hi -

I'm still curious about how your kitties were named - by you and John
or were those their names when you adopted them.  I love Silver and
Scout but, for some odd reason, when I read them I think Lone Ranger
horses!  Not at all apropos.

They *are* Lone Ranger horse names!

I'll bet when they gallop through the house, they sound like a herd of
horses!   MLB

that's where their names came from! we didn't christen them - the
shelter did... we were waiting for them to tell us their truenames,
only it seems like that is what they were meant to be called.... only
most of the time Silver is either Silly or Silly-billy because she
does so many silly things :)
Silver is our little silvertabby lapfungus sweetheart, and Scout is
very curious and lively and independent and always looking for
mischief...

Scout sounds like our three-year-old Paint/Thoroughbred cross of the
same name!  Most people call him "that little horse", but he's over 16
hands now.  He thinks he's a d*g, or a teenage boy...

Thanks, Karen.  I know Silver and Scout were the horses' names in
the Lone Ranger tales and, for some odd reason, I'd envision horses
instead of kitties, and wondered how yours "connected."  (Well, I
*did* warn y'all earlier that I'm not "normal":)   I'm glad you kept
the names, they're as delightful as the kitties are!
Gittum up, Scout!!!!!
