I have a cat who's black and white
Another who's white and grey
The colour makes no difference
They both sleep a lot each day

They follow me around the house
And often trip me up
but look at that sweet face
I'd not swap either for a pup

Memphis looks on wisely
As Phoenix fools around
Wherever there is food
You bet they both are found

I can't imagine what I did
Without a cat to purrr
Or being able to hug
That soft and silky fur

My sons believe I'm going daft
I really must agree
But it's just a case of feline love
That's come right over me!

Cute!  But if you think dogs don't follow you around the house and trip you
... heh ...

Indeed.

Someone gave my friend Nancy & I our first cat, a striped boy we named
Spot, for Christmas many years ago. Neither of us had been cat people
before that. One day, we were down on the floor, playing w/Spot, &
Nancy looked up & said, "What did we do before Spot?" We still say to
each other, What did we do before cats?
