If this dream comes true I'll be overjoyed. Looks like it *is* going to happen, and soon. I just need to find a house/catsitter so I can visit him in south Florida. Scared of the possibility of unrequited love and a broken heart. I've known the guy for more than 4 years but have yet to meet him in person. The one other time I felt a strong attraction to someone I had never met in person, I let emotions take over and when it didn't turn out as I'd hoped, in the end, it hurt a lot. >> I hope things work out for you, Pat. Well, if it helps, I met my husband online. It *can* work out. After a couple of weeks of phone time, I insisted on meeting him. People always seem different in person, and the chemistry isn't always the same. I've met a lot of people in person that I first met online, and the only thing they had in common is that they were *never* quite the same person I thought they were. Some better, some worse, some just different, but never the same. I don't know that letting yourself get excited and emotional is a bad thing.
