What a sweet kitty! The long-hairs are so pretty, but I would be bad
about brushing them. <sigh

I'm lucky he loves to be brushed. He fur is about medium long so I don't
think it will get matted. Abby has very long fur and I have to brush her
every day.

Is Sam the one who was abandoned by your neighbor?

We don't know who owned his mother. Sam and his litter mates were born
outside under a neighbors deck. They tried to trap them but the mother moved
the kittens. In October I trapped the mother and 3 kittens. We ended up
keeping Sam and the others found new homes. You can read the story at

On Dec 25 we started letting Sam out of his room when we are home. His
sisters are not happy with him in the house yet. He has been so good though.
He has never hissed at them.
