I finally got around to making an album of our recent diving trip to
the Similan Islands. This area was hit by the tsunami a week after we
left, but due to the fact that the islands are largely uninhabited,
most of the damage was probably to the scenery. I feel very lucky to
have been able to have seen it like this.

How terrible to think that maybe a huge part of this beautiful island is
gone. And how lucky for you that you weren't there when the tragedy
happened. Lovely pictures.

Those are wonderful pictures. It gives me yet another reason to be
saddened by the great losses due to the tsunami.
Is there another guy there with a tatoo just like Joel's?
Victor, who thinks Vino's daddy is as cute as Vino... :)

Heh. Yeah, I was thinking something similar. I will always think of Britta
and Dennis' wedding pictures as "the wedding of the Beautiful People" :)

LOL! You're too funny, Victor :-)
Dennis' tattoo is a Celtic knot, but when I first met him it was this
goofy mosquito from some heavy metal album cover. He got it when he
was 18 but then he started working out and his chest grew and I guess
the tattoo ink they'd used wasn't the best because by the time I met
him when he was 27, all that remained was a faded blob which resembled
a bruise. So a few years after we got married, Dennis had the Celtic
knot tattooed over the blob. We had to pick a design which was fairly
solid so that the blob wouldn't show through.
