May I add late but fervent and heartfelt good wishes to all regulars and
lurkers in this lovely Group from here in Cornwall, England, GB, UK,
etc.

Things here were quiet: I observed the silent vigil so sensitively held
here before Big Ben's chimes, toasted the bereaved and bereft, and
retired to bed.
Not to sleep, unfortunately, as Pericles had diarrhoea from the new
year's treat foodies and was upset. When Pericles is upset the whole
world (well, his whole world at least) has to know about it. Bless him,
he left the squidgiest mess in the bath by the plughole, clearly
understanding that that's the easiest place for me to clean it up from.

Back to bland diets for all of us from now on.
