DH gave me a lovely big plant for Xmas. It is a type of succulent - I
can't remember the name but it begins with K.
A heap of the plants are planted in a large bowl about a foot or more
across and the whole thing is ablaze with orange flowers, gorgeous.
Bonnie was asleep in the hanging basket in the patio. Clyde came and
jumped on her head. A fight ensued and the pair fell into the middle
of the lovely succulent plant (succulents are very brittle). They
continued fighting leaving a trail of destruction!! Tonight it is New
Year's Eve for us, HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Doh! Is there anything left to be salvaged?
It's a little early for me, but Happy new year!

The good thing is that many succulents sprout back if you plant a limb. :)

That subject line scared me! I was sure it was going to be bad health
news about you, your DH, or one of the cats! [You know me, the
resident group neurotic :-)]
Hope the hoolikittens settle down a little in the coming year. :-)

You're not alone, Seanette, I thought that too! Like Victor says,
succulents are easy to strike if you put a sprig of it into a fresh pot of
soil/sand.
Now you know to keep it away from the cats - if there's anywhere they aren't
allowed to go!

Oh! You have a Bonnie & Clyde. I used to have a Bonnie & Clyde. Clyde
was grey & B was tuxedo. They were littermates. What do yours look
like?

Bonnie is a blue tortie Burmese and Clyde her litter brother is a blue
Burmese.
There is not a spot in the house that is safe from the hoolipair. They
have had a lovely Christmas - masses of people to annoy. When I set
out the Xmas dinner guess who was sitting on the table in the middle of
it. There were extra beds full of extra people to annoy. It was cat
heaven
They got tickled, patted, cuddled, kissed, rolled, stroked, played with
endlessly, and chased bits of paper and string, I could go on for hours.

Sounds like good names for little furry criminals. LOL. The year I had
a holiday dinner here, ^Abby^ and Daisy went around the table, from lap
to lap, never touching the floor, getting attention.
