My computer is on a table downstairs. It's my first stop when I come in
from work. Every time I come down to the 'puter, Mistletoe jumps up on the
table beside me. She has a nice soft bed (two large towels folded in
quarters and stacked) from which she observes.
I can reach over and pet her whenever she (or I) want and am rewarded by
purrs every time. Occasionally, she'll get off her towel stack and stretch
out between my tummy and the keyboard, snuggling and purring up a storm.
Tonight, I was just too engrossed in RPCA and a couple of other programs
running on the computer. Tap-tap-tap. She was very gently tapping on my
forearm to let me know it was time for attention. I looked over at her and
gave her a few skritches. All was calm for a minute or two. Tap-tap-tap.
More skritches. She settled down for a good two minutes.
Tap-tap-tap, Me-owww. I looked over at her and she interpreted it as an
invitation. She climbed up into my arms and nestled in, purring for all
she's worth.
And she's worth a lot!

Oh my gracious goodness YES! Chaos does the same thing and I just melt. It's
embarassing; I'm glad no one can see me.
