My longtime female Kiki enjoys just about any yogurt she is offered.
Kitty doesn't like it yet. I tried dabbing some on his lips but no go.

John Doe <jdoe@usenet.is.the.real.thing> had some very interesting
things to say about Does your cat like yogurt?:

About the only flavor commonly eaten around here is lime, which Felix
does NOT like. He'll come around asking for a sample, then remember he
doesn't like it and give me a disgusted "you're *eating* that????"
look. He does like Cold Stone cheesecake ice cream, though, and
*loves* Haagen-Dazs [sp?] dulce de leche flavor. Oddly, he likes the
Safeway house brand of string cheese, but turns his furry nose up at
any other brand.

Ours love it, but they're picky as hell: they only like the stuff you get
at curry houses, to dip your bread in. It is called dahi, and is very
thick with a light tang, not sour. Our kitties will chow it down like
little piggies. They won't eat plain yogurt from a store, or anything
culled from the top of those fruit on the bottom cups.
Blessed be,
Baha

Our dairy cat, Smokey does not like it. Despite her affinity for most things
dairy, Cheese (except Feta), Ice Cream, Cream and most things cheese covered
(Pasta, Potatoes, Rice, etc).

Yogurt gets some interested sniffs and maybe a few licks. I have to
fight to defend cottage cheese fron all three.
Clifford (RB) generally ignored human food other than deli turkey and
cream cheese. Chatterley (RB) would eat almost ANYTHING.

I have'nt tried yet, but... According to my vet, Yogurt is good for your
kitty, especially after antibiotic treatments. Like humans, cats have
certain beneficial bacteria that live in their digestive tract. Antibiotics
kill these off & the live culture in yogurt helps to restore them.

Tygra likes yogurt as well. She also likes other sweet things... Possum
however enjoys crunchy stuff like chips.

Nope, Shmogg doesn't go much on yoghurt. Fluffy loves it (she likes almost
all human food). IBKFergus doesn't know what yoghurt is yet.

I only eat strawberry yogurt. Tigger (RB) used to clean my bowl up when
I was done. Cloudy will occasionally take a lick. All the others ignore it.

My little Persian, Roxy, will show up whenever DH opens at container
and demand a piece of the action. To get any peace, DH must place a
teaspoon of yogurt on the lid and place it on the floor for Roxy. The
other five can take it or leave it.

Oh yes, Hugo Katt loves yoghurt. I have it for breakfast every morning and
he sits watching and waiting for me to finish so he can lick the bowl. I
don't like him to lick my plates so I eat my yoghurt out of paper bowls,
bought specially for his sake so he can have his lick. LOL. It is always
plain yoghurt.
Hugo Katt also loves milk. It does not make him sick.

Both of our kitties absolutely ADORE yoghurt - any flavour, any amount
:) We buy the little individual tubs and the cats made a rule that
whenever you eat one you have to let them lick the lids and the
insides of the containers when you're done... they also love
kittymilk. They're not very keen on cheese or icecream.
PS. Want to torture a kitten (humanely, of course)? Buy yoghurt in
those narrow-topped containers instead of the tubs - they can smell
the yoghurt and see the yoghurt but the top's too narrow for them to
get their muzzle into it :(

My Missy (RB) loved yogurt but the current Chessie & Nikki have no interest.
They do love ice cream and would like much more than the tiny bit they are
offered.........Lorna & the Chesniks

Melisande doesn't seen to acare for any milk-product - even
cheese. However, I had one cat who adored the stuff - even
lemon (which can be pretty sharp-tasting). I remember the
first time I tried her on it - gave her a bit on a spoon.
The lemon had her salivating so hard, the spoon was filled
with saliva by the time she'd finished the yoghurt, but she
obviously loved it!

Hobbes, Selena and Lacey have no interest in dairy products, including
milk. Sam on the other hand, loves cream cheese! I discovered it this
week when I made strawberry bread and spread cream cheese over it. Sam
ate all the cream cheese I would give him. A little light bulb went off
over my head and I saw visions of Frank getting his meds with cream
cheese so I added it as a treat after Sam takes his antibiotics. That's
a treat to keep in reserve for the day I have to try to pill Sam. Sam
also likes the milk from my cereal (when I eat it) and will climb all
over me to get his share. Selena likes cereal milk as well but she'll
wait politely until I offer her a share. She's such a Lady.

My Simon loved yoghurt, but it had to be served in a special dish; he
wouoldn't eat it from his regular food bowl. I always put it down to his
growing up in a kosher household.
