Well, I'm finally home from Northern California and back in Southern
California, although the weather was the same, cold, windy and rainy

Imp and Mischief were happy to see me, although I didn't see Imp for a
while.  My roomie told me a funny story.

Before I tell it, a few things:

My roomie picked up the cats from where I work yesterday, and the cats
were scared but happy to get home.
All animals boarding at the clinic have their collars removed prior to
boarding.

Weeeeeeeeeeell, when Kristen brought the kitties inside and opened up
the carriers, Imp dashed out of there like a bat out of hell.  Normal
reaction since he is very skittish, but a while later, he ran out in to
the living room and back out, very low to the ground and he was visibly
scared.

Kristen didn't know what to make of it under she realized from Imp's
running around there was a tingling noise.

Mischief's collar with the bell had somehow found its way around Imp's
neck and was scaring the %^$*$% out of him!!

Poor guy, I can only imagine when he got home, "What's that noise?
Ahhh!!  it's coming from me!!! Run Away!!!! Ahhhh it's still there!!!
It's following me!!!!!"

Kristen managed to grab him and get the collars switched.  See, Imp
reacted the same way with his collar when I first got it for him, so I
removed the bell.  Mischief, since she gets into everything, I need to
have the bell on her, so I can hear where she is.

But the kitties are back and sniffing my suitcases and wondering where
the hell I've been.

But I gave them wet food (which the love and RARELY get) in their new
china food dishes given to me by my uncle.  They slurped it up and now
are resting comfortably.

I still have a few days off before I have to go back to work and then
back to school for a quick winter session.
