Poor  little kitty

I could hear 'meow meow meow'... I went outside to try to find the
feline in distress - a magnificent ginger-and-white kitty has been
shut out of his apartment and he's crying to get back in. Of course
nobody's home... poor baby. I scritched him and took him some water
and a little kibble and a small box to sit in if he wants. Hopefully
that'll make him a little more comfortable while he waits. He must be
an inside cat because I've never seen him before... I hope his owners
come home soon!

Aww, that's sad. I hope his people come home soon, or hear his cries,
and let him back in!

I am sometimes asked, "Why do you spend so much of your time and
money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty
to men?" I answer, "I am working at the roots."

Somebody came home and let him in around lunchtime, so he wasn't out
for long. I just collected the box and containers and brought them
upstairs. Looks like he turned his nose up at the kibble, but that was
his choice! Silver is ensconsed in the box. :)

Whew! I wonder if he goes in and out all the time, and just got
hungry this time? (And fussy, apparently.)

The heck with top and bottom -- I want relationships with strangeness
and charm.

I've  NEVER seen him before, and from his yowls of distress he wasn't
at all happy to be in the big out. So nope, I  think he must  be a
pampered indoor kitty.

I think that you must have a particularly well developed sense of
empathy, to be able to make that simple story sound so sad. :)

Thank you Tak... I probably have more empathy than is good for me. :P
