This is about Bonnie. Back when I first saw her as a little cat
eating from the stray cats food bowls, I used to call her Baby
Shadow. That's the name that is on her first vet records from the
clinic when she was spayed. She just made me think of what Shadow
would have looked like as a small cat. He was 3 years old when he
came to live with me back in '95. Now she reminds me more and more of
Shadow. The way Shamrock chases her around and she doesn't want to be
chased - she runs into the kitchen like Shadow did, and Shamrock
still doesn't cross that magical line, so its sort of a safe place.
Sorry to say, her shape is like Shadow, too - chubby. Her solid black
face and big gold/green eyes - just like Shadow. And now, she also
hunts around the house looking for food the way Shadow used to when I
had to hide Bonnie's food from him. Only now, Bonnie is looking for
kitten food.

If she ever starts singing to me and head-butting me when I cry, that
would be just too much.

*sigh*
