Hi CatNipped.  Sorry I've been out of touch - this ng has gotten so
busy with so many wonderful people, it's impossible to keep up with
all of the new messages.

Yep.  It snowed over here on this side of H Town. and you want to talk
about cold..........I was at work, down in the driveway with the wet
saw, cutting tile, and after only making a couple of cuts, couldn't
feel my finger tips anymore.  Needless to say, I wasn't quite as
excited about the snow as you are, but I'm glad you're having fun with
it.   What I couldn't believe is how long it stuck around for.  Pretty
amazing for Houston, Texas.

Yes!!!  We would love to get together again.  Just rattle my cage at
your convenience and we'll talk about it.  Let me know if you need our
phone # or my e--mail address again.

Hope you're having a good time with the kids and grandkids.  Did y'all
get your daughter's computer straightened out?

I know, I had to "mark conversation as read" for a lot of things that I
would normally have loved to read and contribute to - I just didn't have the
time to catch up on over a thousand (!) posts in the few days I was
"absent".

I know - couldn't believe it snowed, much less snowed on Christmas Eve - too
cool (in more than one meaning  of the word).

OK, now that DH is working days it will be easier to schedule something.

Yep, it turned out to be her motherboard.  Our resident "computer god", DH,
was able to fix it for her.  The problem was that this caused all the
drives, hard drives, floppy drive, and CD ROM drive to be inaccessible so
diagnosing the problem was, well, problematic!
