I saw snow, I saw *snow*, *I SAW SNOW*!!!!

DH got me a *really* nice CD/MP3 player for my car for Christmas, so,
naturally, we had to go to Fry's Electronics to get a CD/DVD burner for the
computer.  On the way the we were doing the normal 85 MPH on a Houston
freeway, when all of a sudden everyone just came to a complete stop... it
was snowing!!!!  Since we don't ever see snow in Houston, people had to stop
in the middle of the freeway to watch it come down (it wasn't sticking to
the road, and the roads weren't slick, people were just stopping to look at
the pretty snow!!!).  By the time we got to Fry's through all the
spectators, it had come down hard enough for there to be a snowball fight in
the parking lot.

It hasn't snowed at my house yet, so I still don't have my snowball in my
freezer, but I'm still hoping!

Hugs,

Wednesday we had heavy rain that changed to freezing rain that changed
to sleet that changed to snow.  We got very little snow, but my street
was thoroughly iced over.  What we did get was cold.  The overnight
low is supposed to be 9 F (-13 C) tonight.  Today was sunny, so a lot
of the ice is gone.  Because it stayed below freezing the shady places
are still icey.  It is supposed to get above freezing Sunday.
