Pan Fried Fish (aka She Came RUNNING)

I had a couple of very small tilapia fillets so I dredged them lightly with
cornflake crumbs, sprinkled with salt & pepper.  Browned them in canola oil.
The minute the fish hit the pan (and no, it wasn't so hot it sizzled) Persia
dashed from the back of the apartment, where she was cosily esconsed on the
heated bed, to the kitchen.  How do they KNOW?

I gave her some of her gooshy Rx food and that seemed to satisfy her... at
least until I settle down to eat some of it.  I suppose I'll have to give
Peaches one of my brussels sprouts, too.  LOL

LOL Oh, they know! I can't even eat around here anymore without
standing in the kitchen. The kittens are all over me when I have
food.

I can't imagine having more than one cat, let alone kittens!  Persia got a
taste of the fish - loved it!  Darnit, I'm not supposed to feed her 'people
food' but she's just so pitiful when I'm eating stuff like this.  I eat fish
and seafood more than anything and she just gets this LOOK. (sigh)  But she
absolutely *hates* canned tuna.  Go figure.

Weird.  Oscar's just the opposite.  She goes crazy over canned tuna, but turns
her nose up at cooked or uncooked salmon.

I don't give Felix much fish [he has a history of urinary problems],
but will give him the liquid from a can of tuna. He strongly prefers
water to oil, so we normally buy water-pack. :-)

But isn't fish cat food just as much as people food?  Cats can fish.
My two don't like canned tuna either but the trout I gave them last week was
practically inhaled ;-)

She loved it!  I was worried about the seasonings on it even though I added
a bit of red pepper.  She wasn't in the least concerned.

Tee hee!  Evelyn, if I don't find a job soon she might be fighting me for
it! ;)

Seriously, I knew the minute I hit SEND that sentence didn't sound right.
It was too late to revise it.  Happy Holidays!
