I have never seen a kitten able to get so completely engrossed in playing.

This morning we were headed to a pickup, and Harri was in the overhead
playing with stuff. She decided that one of my towels was being
especially bad and needed to be disciplined, so she grabbed it with both
front paws and bunny-kicked furiously with her back paws.

When I heard this I glanced up to see what she was doing. Besides seeing
what she was doing I noticed that she had her back to me, and that she
was right up against the cargo netting and was pulling it down a bit. I
told her "better not roll over or you'll fall out." As soon as I said
that she rolled over and fell out of the overhead.

Since I saw it coming I was able to just stick my right hand up behind
her and catch her as she rolled over. I then just deposited the entire
bundle of kitten and towel in my lap. A few seconds after I put her in
my lap she looked up, did a double take, and startled. The expression on
her face was something like "Whoa, dude, how'd you do that? I was in
that overhead thing..."  She had no idea whatsoever that she had fallen
out, she was so totally engrossed in killing that naughty towel.

She then jumped off my lap and into the sleeper. She seems to still be a
little incensed that I teleported her out of the overhead - that must be
what happened, because she sure doesn't remember leaving the overhead by
choice!

Me too!  And I can only imagine how bleak driving that rig around must have
been before Harri(et) came on board!

I can only imagine what it must be like trying to focus on the road
with a kitten on board!

Harri apparently keeps herself entertained quite nicely!  Although, I'd be
worried about all those "noises" I heard coming from overhead and behind me
:)  Of course, I'm terrified of driving any great distance anyway so it
wouldn't work for me.

Maybe it's time for a yellow diamond "kitten on board" sign in the
back? :)

I wonder what happens when a car with kids drives by and the kid starts
waving at Dan and pantomiming him pulling the horn.

Can you imagine Dan pulling the horn and poor little Harri defying
gravity?  Or worse climbing up Dan's head?

hehehehehhee

It was truly awful! Now it's much more bearable.

And yes, we're home now!

Since you pass out from Kitten Fever Shock, and bump your head any time
some one posts pictures of their kittens, maybe we don't need more
pictures of Harri soon.  Maybe that's how Pat got brained by the
bathtub.  She was thinking about cute kitten pictures and....Whammo.

Still bad enough.  Aw, keep it up.  You need a hobby of some kind, right?
