Jake decided to take off last night. He zipped outside when Charlie got up
to take the dog out to pee and we could not get him back in. Left the
garage part way open but he still had not come home this morning.
I haven't been on the group today so didn't get a chance to write and ask
for purrs, but I was sure thinking about needing them.
Jake showed up just before dark today. No obvious injuries but he's moving
kind of slow and just looks like he's been in a fight. Then once I got him
in and fed and fresh water he disappeared again. I was sure he wasn't out
but we couldn't find him anywhere. After two hours of this he comes walking
down the hall and jumps on the counter to demand treats.
So to the cats out there who have been purring without being asked. He's
home, he's OK. And we are grateful.

The little stinker! I'm glad he's home safe and sound and sorry that he had
to worry you.
