I have given up on ever using a bathroom privately and with the door
closed as long as I live. I figure by the time I get the dog, cat
and kids to let me be, I'll probably be in need of an attendant.

This reminds me of pictures I have seen of old outhouses -- some of
which were "two holers". MLB

With three cats in the apartment, two of whom see themselves as
Official Bathroom Supervisors, privacy is a thing of the past. Tessie
follows you into the bathroom every single time, and if it's the
morning or close to dinnertime, Silver comes too just to make sure I
don't forget that I haven't fed them yet...

At eighteen years old, Sister and Sneaker are still the Bathroom
Ambassadors, and it's still a race every morning to see who gets to the
toilet paper first. First place gets unrolling rights. Sometimes I win.
