Yesterday afternoon, I heard what sounded like a full blown catfight going
on in the dining room where the sliding glass door is, and where I feed
Twitter from. Nobody makes that kind of ruckus when Twitter comes over but
the glass door was wide open , because it was really warm out and I heard
these yeowls , and I went to the door to see, and what I saw was a huge,
(raccoon size) longhair orange cat that was trying to punch a hole in the
screen and Mosey was fighting him back. Wow, this is one mean cat. You all
know I love cats, but this one scared me. I usually keep the glass door
open just a foot or so, but it was wide open yesterday, and Mosey used some
language I'd never heard from a cat before. LOL..I chased the orange one
away without going outside and got Mosey calmed down, he was swearing like a
sailor,
I hope that cat never comes back.
Oh, Twitter is here, gonna go feed him.
Feeding an Outcat, Indoor kibble, hmmmm.

the orange cat might just have been puffed up, long hairs look huge when
they puff, just ask gramby about tiny little willow when she puffs up, Lee

I can more than easily put my hands around Willow. She looks like a drown
rat when given a bath, she is so small. But, let her get hissed off and I
swear she looks as big as my 40 pound dog. Almost scared me the first time
I saw her do it.
Funnier than that is the kitten at the wets office when I took Sadie back to
get her stitches out. This kitten met us at the door and when she saw
Sadie, this little tiny, 8 week old long hair puffed up and looked most as
big at O T my 16 pound boy. Sadie backed out the door and had to nearly
drag her back inside. The girls at the desk had never seen this before and
laughed their butts off.

LOL, well I haven't seen it recently but it could have been hissed off and
got puffy and Mosey, got quite puffy too, and he weighs 7 maybe 8 lbs.
After a great deal of swearing at each other, loudly, Orange kitty huffed
off. Funny story about the kitten at the vets. I have never given Mosey a
bath...

One of the many things I've learned in the past few years, is that you
really can't tell how cats are going to react once they get past the
door and are actually face to face. To hear Spotty cuss through the
screen, you'd swear she was one mean kitty. But once she actually
meets the other cat, she normally turns into a scaredy cat who backs
off and hides. She and Sammy used to scream at each other through the
screen - Sammy actually knocked the screen door off the rail a couple
times. When I first brought Spotty inside Sammy pretty much ignored
her. But I had to keep Little Bit and Sammy in a different room, as
Spot was very protective of the kittens, and being half starved she
was ready to fight to the death to chase the two established cats away
from the food bowl.
