Well, if you guys haven't read it by now, I'm all done with finals, and
I'm VERY happy.

So I decided to celebrate.....I felt that I had deserved it.

Anyways, a few beers later.....  :P

I did my laundry and I'm folding it and putting it away....well I'm
putting most of it away.  I haev a pile of clothes on the floor of
random stuff that either won't fit in the drawer, or I plan on wearing
it tomorrow, so I toss it on the floor for easy access. :)

Well, a couple of things I actually am putting away, but other things
i'm just throwing over my shoulder.  I pick up a pair a shorts, which I
plan on wearing next week and I toss them over my shoulder.  I'm
sorting through the rest of my laundry when I hear the tinkle of
Mischief's bell.  Except it's a rapid tinkling, faster than usual.

I turn around and whoops!!  Apparently she was walking behind me when I
was tossing and the short were now covering her head and the upper half
of her body.  The frantic tinkling was her backing up trying to get
this *&%^&$ thing off her head.

She finally got it off, and eventually I stopped laughing.  And she
saunters out of the room with the remains of her dignity.

I apologized, but she didn't seem to hear me.... oops.
Sorry, Mischief!!

Hi, I'm the newby. Don't think we've met.

One time, Daisy was routing around on the closet floor, where I put my
dirty laundry. She came out of the closet w/a pair of my underwear on
her head! I laughed myself into a coma. Perhaps she & Mischief could
commiserate.

Franny Cat (RB) used to dig my undies and socks out of my drawer (there were
no knobs, just a cut out hole in the drawer) and drag them in to the living
room to decorate....

Hey there and welcome!

I'm from Van Nuys which is about an hour from downtown Los Angeles.  I
am owned by two cats, Imp and Mischief.    here' the photo albums,
http://photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos.  There's an album on Grayness a
kitty, I helped save, but that's a long story.  I'll tell it another
time.

I'm also the one that posts the Vet Tech Journals.  I'm currenly
attending school to become a Registered Vet Technician.  I currently
work in a vet clinic as a technician, but I'm studying to be licensed
by the state, so I can get better jobs and pay.

So the Vet Tech journals, are litlle snippets of my adventures of
working in a vet clinic.  I find it cool to share with people what it's
like to work for TED :) and even though going to the vet's is horribly
scary for the animals, at times it's no picnic for us that work there.
:)

Cheers,

Kristi

Omigosh! ROFL. Looks like that Mischief girl is well-named. Isn't she
an explorer girl!
Mischief - 20 Dec 2004 18:59 GMT
Yes she is very aptly named...

When I got Imp, I liked his name so much, I told my roommate, "If we
ever get another cat, I'm going to name it Mischief."

A few months later, she showed up....

I think a third kitty would be the last, it wouldn't be while I'm
staying in this apartment, since three cats would be too crowded.  I
just think it could be cool.

And I've already picked a name too......  I'll name it Mayhem.  so I'll
have Imp, Mischief and Mayhem.  hehehe
Of course, now I hope that it doesn't show up.  :)

I adopted 3 unrelated adult female cats all on the same day. (No, it
didn't work very well.) Daisy & ^Abby^ already had names. I originally
thought of Rosie for the third one, as in Rosie the Riveter, b/c she
busted her way out of the cardboard carrier on the ride home. But I
felt that Daisy, Abby & Rosie sounded too much like a Texas whorehouse.
I eventually came up with Miss Moxie, which sort of still plays into
that whorehouse thing... LOL.

I always love to hear other folks cats' names, & the stories behind
them. Moxie was a combination of moxie for busting out of the carrier;
& Moxy Fruvous, a Canadian band; and amoxycillin, b/c I had to give it
to her, & she shook her head & splashed bright pink stuff all over us
both.
