There are Mynah birds nesting in the magnolia tree near the back door.
It is a huge tree and their nest is right at the top. One bird was
sitting on the warm concrete driveway musing about the meaning of life
when Clyde decided to grab it. Silly Clyde doesn't know much about
Mynah birds. All hell broke lose! Mynahs seem to go around in family
groups and the sight of Clyde trying to grab a treasured member of the
pack was beyond bird belief. They screamed loud enough to wake the dead
and went into attack mode. Poor old Clyde didn't know what hit him.
They dived-bombed him from all angles. He was terrified and the vision
of him haring it across the lawn with a stream of angry birds in his
wake was a sight to behold.

Poor Clyde! I'll bet it's a long time before he goes after another
bird - of any description.

It just occured to me that the subject line could be a good name for
an R&B group. ;)

Poor Clyde, he'll never learn!
Bev, Phoebe is in at the vets, she had been in labour all night with not
much progress.
Took her in this morning, they talked about a caesarean but I asked them to
try oxytocin first.
When I rang at noon she had five babies, will phone again in a few minutes
to get an update.
Feeling a bit like a zombie today, not much sleep last night.

LOL! Reminds me of when Frank was the target for a big scary diving -
swallow! Poor Frank was so offended.
