We have been having a bit of snow today, and the cats have been very
interested in watching it come down. I was sitting here a short time ago,
peacefully reading RPCA, when a snow plow went by. In a split second, I had
cats running all over the place, trying to get away from the "monster"! 3 of
the cats were on the cat tree, near the window, and I don't think they
touched the ground for at least 5 feet after catapulting off it. Silly cats!
I placated them by giving them a couple of cans of catfood. <G>
By the way, if anyone would like to see our snow, you can visit Syracuse's
(New York, USA) website at http://www.syracuse.com/clintoncam/
It is 19 degrees F outside right now. Not too bad for mid December!

Poor sillies! Stinky LOVES snow (from the inside of course). At
first, he runs from window to window to see it. Then he settles down,
but with wildly lashing tail. ;)

LOL! I feel bad when my cats are scared by something, but when I know it's
nothing dangerous to them, I can't help but also find it comical to see
them in their various forms of panic mode.
I have to turn the radio volume way up on my alarm clock, or else I won't
wake up. When it goes off, the first thing I see is cats in various poses
of mid-flight - legs splayed, eyes huge, fur out to the max. I half expect
to see a cat-shaped hole in the ceiling. :)
Joyce (actually, I've lately discovered that a lower volume does wake me,
without giving everyone heart attacks)

Ha! I got a new dryer about a month ago. It has the most loud, obnoxious buzzer
I ever heard. I had to disengage it. It just freaked the cats out and after a
month, they *still* weren't used to it.

Heh. Brenna still jumps every time the clothes washer goes into the
spin cycle. And I've had it for about 6 months, doing a few loads at
least once or twice a week. She did the same thing with the old washer
that she'd heard every few days for about three years. Silly kit.
