RPCA MIA

As I finish my 2004 Holiday Card list I gather my cards from previous
years and the lists (unfortunately I lost several years of lists in a
computer crash, luckily I still have all the envelopes from previous
years) and I sort out the people who have dropped off the list for some
reason or other. I send them a card as well and since none of the cards
have ever come back I hope they were delivered to the intended person.
Since we're making a list of rpca missing (Dave Y, Crackles' Mom,
Hopitus) I'll add to the list:

Sheenah was on my list - so good to see you back Sheenah but I'm sorry
you've had such a difficult time in the past few years.  Purrs on the
way for you and Peter.

How about:

Robin I (WV, USA)
Kathleen M (SD, USA)
Theresa M (OH, USA)
Karen J (Australia)

I thought Cap't Andy was MIA but am please to see him on the card list.

I'm way way behind on reading rpca and quite frequently skip over
follow-ups to threads so that I miss a lot (we all know how threads can
wind around subjects around here) so that some of these people may be
here but under a different name/address. But if you're around, stand up
and be counted :)

Purrs to all that need them,

{{{hugs back to you}}} I have your phone numbers...all of them. You're
on my "to call and check on list if ever you disappear".  We did this a
few years ago as I'm sure you remember.  I think I have you, Pam H and
Pam S and I now have Ginger-lyn's phone number on my list.

Love you, girl.

Julie, you have saved my sanity several times by checking up on us to
make sure RL hasn't kicked us in the a@@ any harder than usual.  There
are a bunch of you who may have my phone numbers, for any and all
reasons.  If you feel the need, email me and get both home and cell
numbers.  For those of you who have my cell number from last summer, it
is still the same.  Only the faces have changed to protect the not so
innocent.

Yup, I've got you, Pam S, Bridget, Dave G, Bev, Flippy and Baha's phone
numbers and occasionally have the urge to chat to people overseas. I've lost
Lena's and Hazel's has changed since I last talked on the phone.

I know lena and Bridget are often overrun by Real Life stuff, but are still
around on occasion.

I wonder alot about Jepo.

I have Hazel's phone numbers and can send them to your email address.
I'm sure she wouldn't mind. I call her occasionally, when I can or she
sends an email asking that I call.

Another MIA is Dewey.  She was in your neck of the world, has anyone
heard from her?

Julie
Tish Silberbauer - 15 Dec 2004 01:31 GMT
I last heard from Devi a year or so ago, shortly after we moved to
Sydney.  At that time she was doing really well.  I think she lurks on
catslaves.  We met once, she is an absolute sweetie and her menagerie
is georgous.

Hopitus is still around; the last I heard she hadn't gotten newsgroup posting
capability on her computer after the move. She was lurking via google, but not
posting. I miss her posts, too.

That's good to hear.  If she likes, maybe she can post through Google.
It would be nice to hear from her.

Every so often I'll see Dave G as being present on Yahoo messenger.
However, I'm usually invisible due to time and real life.  I've sent him
a few "I miss you, and how are you doings," and he sometimes answers
back that he's getting swamped by RL too.  He hasn't said much to me
about Dot, I suspect that he's afraid I'll send Pine Cone and his pirate
crew to sing to her again.

What I originally came in here to post was...

Sweetie, you don't know how worried we were about you earlier this year.
We were told you were lurking, but still...

I'm so glad to see you posting again and purrs and thoughts are always
being sent to you, Jody, and Abi from us here.

Sometimes I don't remember how good I have it.

Dave is still alive and kicking, although I think he got more involved in
Harry Potter fanfic. Occasionally he posts to Catslaves. Dot's condition is
slowly but unfortunately predictably deteriorating, although she's still
well enough to have a good belly laugh and a chat when I ring.

I'll give them a bell today if I remember and let them know they are missed.

objective, unbiased statement of fact.  She's very nice, and I like her
a lot.

Er, I don't want to give the impression that I'm separated; I'm not.
Jones was my maiden name; Tavener is my married name.  Tavener-Jones was
my intermediate, bickering-in-sin name.  I was only too happy to ditch
the Jones when I married, as it's a name that never brought me any
happiness.

The reason Karen J is missing in action in Australia is that she came
