Bubbels theory

I have a new theory on Bubbels. You see those multi-coloured creatures
at the bottom of the screen? I think those are Bubbels greeblings. This
is all a greebling plot to capture and hypnotize all cat slaves in the
world so that they will neglect their masters, and then when the cats
are weakened by lack of food and proper sleeping accomodations, the
greeblings will be able to conquer them and take over the world. As we
all know, our cats work tirelessly to defend us and the rest of the
world against greeblings, but if the Bubbels greeblings succeed in their
mission, we are all doomed.

It's not the cats, it's not the Mothership, it's not Bev. It's the
greeblings, I tell you!

Bubbels has spread much farther than the catslave world.  I emailed
the link to Dennis when he was away working in Burma.  He got addicted
and showed the link to the engineer, Bob.  Bob got addicted but they
have 2 computers in the office so it was ok.  But then Bob told some
of the Twin Otter pilots and every time they would come in from
Yangon, they would shut down for 2 hours and hog the computers playing
Bubbels.  Fights over computer time would ensue.
Meanwhile, Dennis is home but he left his laptop in Burma.  So Dennis
and I are fighting over Bubbels on my computer.  Our favourite thing
to do while the other is playing is to stand right behind them and
constantly commentate on their game playing.  "Oh no!  Bad shot.  Uh
oh!  I wouldn't aim there.  Bad idea, you're dead.  My turn as soon as
you die."  It is evil and there is no end to the addiction in sight!

Yup, I'm responsible for it spreading to Joel, my mother, a friend of mine
who has just become a Mum and has worked out how to play whilst breast
feeding (great for the 4am feeds, apparantly) plus 2 of Joel's friend.

Its like The Plague!!!

I am proud to say that I have not given out the link to Bubbels to
*anyone*, not even people I hate! I just can't bring myself to do it,
even though I'm tempted to sometimes. I mean, it's a fun game and
sometimes I want to show a friend and say, "this is a blast". But then
I remember how many hours I've wasted on it, and I think, "Mmmm, maybe
I better not. They might not forgive me!!" One friend I was telling
about it even said, "Don't ever show me that game - I'd be addicted to
it in 2 seconds." I don't want her ruined life on my hands. :)

Or the greeblings have taken over her mind. No wonder B&C pee in her sink!

Another reason I won't let myself get hooked on the game.  Besides, Pine
Cone told me not to play it.

Stop this all of you.  Shame, shame.  You are scared to play a little
bitty game. poof.   People have to take responsibility for their actions
- if you give them the game they are capable of resisting it.   Play it
I say, beat the scores I say.   go go go.  Cowards opt out!!!

BAD HOOMIN!  BAD! BAD! HISSPIT!!  You get off of that stupid game and
play us your owners and wait on them hand and foot, RIGHT NOW.  If you
don't we'll have to sail the Mouser over and set you straight.
