So I'm sitting there typing and all of a sudden I notice that the
letters on the screen are no longer the ones I'm typing. Since this is a
problem (you can't read the text anymore), I look down, and...
...it turns out Lynxie, who was lying down against the keyboard, decided
to turn over and go upside-downy head on me, pushing the keyboard down
by exactly one row of keys.
So I rolled my chair backwards one row of keys and kept typing. He's
still upside-downy head as I finish typing this.

Heh. With me, it's always suddenly I can't type. Pearl always manages to hit
the num lock key.

Lemme guess.... Laptop keyboard, in which hitting numlock means half the
letters now type numbers? }:)

It could be worse. You could be playing bubbels and have a kitty suddenly
jump on the backspace key, as Lily has done to me, twice, when I was on the
verge of clearing the last of the bubbels.

What happens when you hit backspace?

Go start a bubbels game, then hit that key and watch what happens.

Nothing at all happened. If you hit the space bar, though, as O J said, it
does a rapid fire.

Well when I do it I get taken back to the start page of the game.

Ah, it's sending your browser back a page! That's strange. On most web
pages the backspace key sends me back a page on my browser, but on this page
it doesn't. Which link are you using for playing the game? If it's the
".swf" page then your backspace button shouldn't have any effect, but if
it's a web page that contains the ".swf" file embedded in the page then the
backspace button will work on your browser. Sorry, that sounds confusing!

I don't get any reaction with the backspace key, but holding down the
space bar fires the cannon like a machine gun.
