Two bouts of destruction tonight.
It was my fault.
Christmas cactus (almost blooming) tumbled to the floor.
It was my fault.
Curtain rod with its bracket pulled free from the wall.
It was my fault.

You can never leave tempting things at kitten level. Curtains, wicker
stands for potted plants.
It was my fault.

Yeah, I get almost blase' these days when yet another item falls and breaks,
gets covered in cat hair, and or gets peed on by cats with 'tudes.  I had to
take Celeste in for a blood draw yesterday and I handed the lab requisition
to the insurance person inside of a Ziploc baggie as Ms. Midnight had
expressed her displeasure in no uncertain terms on it.
I suggested they Xerox the requisition through the bag.  The insurance lady
was quite grateful of the covering.

LOL. Maybe I don't want a kitten after all. It would be almost
impossible to kitten-prooof this place, with all the clutter I have.

Kittens love clutter and they will help you make more.  But think of the
enjoyment they will bring you.   MLB

Oscar destroyed all of the blinds in my apartment as a kitten.  Actually
chewed through them.  I had no covering on my bedroom windows for over a year.

Fortunately, they were cheap apartment blinds, and I think the total charge
when I moved out came to like $40.

My advice to you is, move to a crappy apartment, raise your kittens, *then*
move back to your preferred living space =)
