some cats never learn

Could I have a few purrs for Jasper please?  He's got himself into a
fight with something (probably over food) and has a lovely abcess to
show for it. He's currently in TED's, awaiting surgery tomorrow.  Carrie
is wandering around the house somewhat confused.

Doh!  Purrs for Jasper.  Oscar isn't exactly fond of other cats, so I'll have
to make the purrs myself, as best I can =)

Mr. Pumpkin who had a big absess and can relate to Jaspers problem,
Aggie Marble who would be sympthetic if she were not hiding someplace,
Victor Velcro the champion neighborhood bully, at 7 pounds, who gets in lots
of trouble and wishes Jasper the very best and a quick recovery!

He's home, with his face shaved (including whiskers) on one side :-(
and an incision.  However, he's fit and well - hurtled up the stairs
behind me when I came up to the study.  Now we have a week of
antibiotics (but these ones are actually palatable - J's had them
before) and a wound-cleaning regimen to add to the separate feeding and
insulin shots regimen. Sheesh ....

The little stinker seems fine!  Takes his meds like a good boy, and his
fur is already growing back on the shaved spot - he has a noticeable
five o'clock shadow.  He's not too keen on having the wound washed twice
a day though.
