Went out yesterday evening to find Billy because I hadn't seen him in a few
hours. Took the flashlight and proceeded to shine it around the yard,
calling "Billy! Billy! Time to come in, Billy!" when suddenly there were
four shining green-yellow eyes catching the light. To high off the ground to
be cats or dogs or any other small critter... I walked closer and let the
light play around those eyes... It was two deers standing in the yard near
the well house. They didn't move... Suddenly, Billy and Tommy come walking
into the light. They had been sitting in the grass near the deers' feet! I
have seen these two deers in the yard several times before but never so
close to the house. It's a doe and a late fawn, very small. I guess they got
used to seeing the cats already :)
