Hi all,
Sesame is almost back to her old self now.. she's asking for food instead of
having it shown to her and she's got a huge appetite! She is now eating
Science Diet as recommended by the vet... can only find one flavour around
here though in the Senior canned so I hope she doesn't get sick of it!
She's even tolerating cuddles.. she stayed on my lap for about 45 minutes
last night.. her mouth is still bothering her a little but she has anti
inflammatories as well as the antibiotics so that is helping. The
antibiotics have been extended from 10 days to more than 2 weeks worth.. she
is starting to be a bit difficult taking them, it is definately a two person
job!
I have been very lucky with work.. my house was broken into last week as
well so I had a couple of days off then. The management have been great,
even encouraging me to take the afternoon off because I was worried about my
cat! I'm very lucky to have this kind of support.
Thank you all for all your purrs and prayers for Sesame, I'm sure it has
made a difference. She will be going in for a check up on Tuesday and I
expect she will be pretty much herself again by then!

This is wonderful news, Kathryn! I'm glad your bosses are so
understanding.
Sorry about your house being broken into. I hope you didn't lose too
much.

Sounds like she is making a wonderful recovery. Purrs for this to continue.

It is good to hear Sesame is improving. But it is terrifying that
someone broke in. I would be scared of my cats getting hurt or getting
out or something. Maybe Sesame just hid. Sheba and Djoser would hide;
but Robin would go to the burgler to get petted! Purrs for Sesame.
