I canNOT clear the screen and it makes me angry. I think I play it too late at night but that is the only time I have for "fun". However, it makes me SOOOOo mad to get way up in score and down in bubbels and then LOSE. AAAAARRRRRRRGH!

I was like that for the longest time (which is why I was too ashamed to let on that I was even playing it) - I would keep losing at some ignominious score like 5,000. You just have to learn the strategy. First, since most other games are timed so that you have to think fast and be quick on the trigger, you tend to try to go too fast trying to burst bubbles at first. You have to learn to slow down and plan your shots. Second, you need to keep in mind what color the "upcoming" bubble is so you can clear other bubbles out of the way with your current bubble to get a scoring shot with the upcoming one.
I just beat my own record low "win", 48,710!
Hugs,
CatNipped

More often than not I can't clear the board. I wish I could read the directions/rules; I'm still not sure what the box on the upper right hand side signifies.
It didn't strike me until I started clearing the board occasionally that the concept of "winning" isn't completely obvious. I guess the object is to clear the board with the *lowest* score, which seems kind of counterintuitive. I initially played thinking that the object was to rack up the highest score possible, but after you play awhile you realize that if the goal is to get rid of all the bubbles that wouldn't make sense.
Sure wish I knew Dutch-I bet the explanations are right there on the site.

I've got to do something about that too, since I've *got* to work on a cross-stitch piece that's going to be a wedding gift for friends of mine [the wedding's the 28th!].

I've got a snood game on my cell phone. Its like blackjack, but its like you are are playing on four seats at once. The aim of hte game is to use up all the cards dealt and score the maximum number of points. Every time you get a 21, you get points, each "seat" making a different number of points (ie, if you get a 21 on seat 1, you get 100, if you get a 21 in seat 4 you get 400). Once you get a 21 (there are wild cards that imeediatley maek whatever hand you've got into a 21) you start again, and if you go bust, that seat has to retire. The obvious tactic is if you *have* to go bust, you go bust on the lower scoring seats first. Its addictive, but drains alot of battery power, do I don't play it very often.
