I have this large room set up as a kitty play room, with crates, beds,
shelves, a 5' wooden ladder, chair and "Tiny Tykes" toddler climbing tower,
(pix can be seen at this addy: http://tinyurl.com/6b3k6)which I bought at a
garage sale. My hubby was a little puzzled by my buying it, but willingly
helped me load it into the car to bring home. It is about 3' tall, made out
of hard plastic, with holes to climb through, and a slide. I didn't think
they would use the slide, but I put it on anyway, figuring they could run up
and down it if they wanted to.

This past weekend I was in the room cleaning, when I heard a commotion
behind me. Here was little Gabby, running up the slide. She turned around
and put her paws out wide, and SLID down the slide! She ran back up, and did
it again! She was chirping and trilling all the time - I saw her do this at
least 4 times. <G> Silly little girl! She got a kiss and hug for making me
smile!

It doesn't take much to amuse them, but you found a winner! Thanks
for making me smile reading about it!

LOL! Who would have thought a cat would like a slide? I wish you'd had a
camera, too.

In one of his books, James Herriot describes a dog who loved to go
down a slide, and would climb back up to repeat it.  ;)

How CUTE!! I love that she was making all those little trilling sounds
while playing on the slide. That was probably her way of telling *you*
how much fun she was having. Or maybe she was inviting you to join her. :)

Well, nothing makes me happier than when I have made my cat happy.

How cute! Now I have to keep an eye out for a climbing tower.  I bet
Lacey would enjoy a slide.

Awwww --- I hope you can get a shot of Gabby doing this sometime; I'd love
to see it!
