She has been here befor, and that visit resulted in four lovely, beautiful
kittens. Now she's coming back again, and hopefully the result will be about
the same this time.
There is one problem, though, Teti's mother. She is living here, too, and
she doesn't like female intruders like a black, curly female Devon Rex
coming into her territory. So I have to lock Teti and his girlfriend
(Empress) up in my bedroom to avoid any confrontations.
Empress will arrive on Sunday, but already today, I have begun making Teti
used to the fact that this little bedroom (where I'm sitting right now) will
be his home for the next four or five days. His mother, Tin?viel, is also in
here now, just to make it a bit easier for him (and for Tin?viel, as well).
I arranged a new litter box in here, and they understood the point of that
immediately. They both had to go and try it at once. Tomorrow, maybe there
will be food and water in here, too... ;-)
I'm looking forward to this, Empress and I got along so well the last time
she was here, she even invited me to mate her, but I, most politely,
rejected...

Are you breeding to sell? Or just want some kittens?

No girl is good enough for my son! :)

I'm glad to hear that, Hans! :)

No, they will not be my kittens. A Devon Rex breeder I know, is buying
Teti's services for one of her queens. He is going to be mated with another
queen, too, before I get him neutered some time early next year. At that
time he will have been responsible for five litters, and that should be
enough.

Ah, you are the stud provider.
Best wishes for a successful mating!

Well I remember taking our Brandie off for a few days with her chosen amour.
She was a lovely apricot toy poodle who had quite a few litters of puppies
before she retired. It was over an hour drive to the destination, and after
the first time she knew where we were going and why. She would stand on the
car seat and yip and dance with excitement for the entire drive. Made me
smile to remember those trips/
