Isn't it supposed to be dry here in the mid-atlantic by now?  If this
year says anything, it's going to be a harsh hurricane season.  Or,
it will suddenly become near-draught conditions overnight. We've had
the most amazing downpours and storms about 2 times per week. This is
not to rub in the face of those who aren't getting rain; it's just
abnormal for this time of year here.

With this weather comes cat problems.  Shamrock, who has been
steroid-free for the last year has had two shots now in two months.
He has mold and dustmite allergies among other things. He's been so
grumpy and off his regular food and eating the dry instead (he saw
TED today and he hasn't lost weight). His grumpiness has led to
Scarlett having a herpes flare-up because he attacks her relentlessly
when he's grumpy.  Rhett is doing well, and Bonnie has her normal
stuffy nose with occassional cough but her eyes are clear and she has
an above-normal appetite. Her weight is going in the right direction
though, even if it is slow-going.

Poor Shamrock. Purrs that the weather gets warmer and drier. After a
very warm winter, we're having a very cool summer. Strange weather.

Poor Shamrock.  Purrs for you to feel better, little man.

Humm, I have the same problems with allergies.  Maybe I should go see TED
too. :-(
