I get this big goofy grin on my face when I go to the mailbox and find cards
from people here :)  I truly wish I could reciprocate; maybe next year.

I wanted to thank you all for bringing a smile to my face every day.  Purrs
for all in need, candles lit; dirty litter box offerings to those who
mistreat our furry friends.  I've got a big bag of cat clumps I can send to
anyone you think deserves it!  LOL

Thanks guys.  I really need the cheer you are all bringing to me this
season.

Jill, Persia and that darned chirpy bird :)

I echo this.  Today I got cards from Sam Nash and Marina.
Loved them, and it cheered me too.  Thanks, guys.

Ditto! It's making me feel much more at home to go to the mailbox and
to get things with my name on them as well as Johns... and the kittens
are fascinated by the occasional bits of fur in the envelopes :) I'm
putting all of our christmas cards up on the wall in the shape of a
christmas tree, with a homemade gold star at the top... I'll have to
take a photo once we've got them all :)

I haven't gotten to the mailing stage yet, but I will soon... I opened
the box of envelopes I bought and they 're too small for the cards
I've been making (waaah) I hope I can find some, because I want us to
send as many cards as we can scrape up the money for...

Nikki is veeeeery interested in the bits of fur, sniffing them
thoroughly, and even trying to eat them. Frank couldn't care less. ;o)

I'm going to second that.

I've got mine on the way, and I've enjoyed receiving those little warm fuzzies
in the mailbox. It's so dark here in Buffalo now as the winter comes, and there
has been so much sadness in recent months. Thanks to you all, and I'm sure I
speak for everyone. My heart is gladdened for every visit to the mailbox. Bless
you all!

I'd like to echo that sentiment.  You may not believe this, but in RL I am a
very shy and introverted person and I don't have any friends to send me
greetings - there have been Christmases when I haven't received a single
card.  Getting 6 already this year has made me feel like the Prom queen.  I
*LOVE* you guys!!!  <sniff>

I'm also enjoying the cards. The occasional enclosures are fun to see.
Mine have gone out now.  So my fellow USAns should be receiving
them soon.  (Not sure about travel time internationally.)

I'm also very introverted.  My two very best friends moved away years ago,
one due to marriage to a damn Yankee LOL and the other to be closer to her
family due to her escalating problems with multiple sclerosis.  I can
honestly say my only close friends these days are those I have met online.
No shame in that, you are all great people!  And thank you again for the
cards!

Persia *demanded* to be let out in her kitty walk this morning.  It's cold
but I finally relented.  Trust me, she didn't stay out there long!  Brrreth!
