I didn't know you, Sooty

I've never met my mother's cousin, but I heard today, her cat Sooty, who
she loved, had to be PTS due to advanced cancer. He was only 12 years
old and even though I never knew him this news has still upset me.

Many purrs. I had a cat growing up named Sooty and he was just the bestest
kitty. Purrs for Sooty and your mother's cousin.

It's always very sad when someone loses a beloved cat. You don't have to
know him to imagine the loss. Purrs for whoever is mourning him today and
may his trip to the bridge be calm and quick.

I am sorry to read this; we don't have to know the people to know how
they feel, or know the cats to know how big a hole they leave when
they go. We will light a candle for Sooty, and send purrs to all who
will miss him.
