There is *major* flooding going on in central Indiana today - dams and
bridges collapsing, homes flooded, interstate highways and other roads
closed (this includes the Indianapolis metro area, btw).  After a week
of heavy rain nearly every day (enough to damage the football field at
Indiana University so badly that it may be unplayable for the upcoming
season - which doesn't begin for 2+ months!), we had more rain Friday
night - some places got up to 10 inches of rain Friday night.

How are the Hoosier kitties?  MLB, aren't you down around B-ton?

Was gone until today but near terre haute we have major flooding.  By my
house, we got 9 inches of rin overnight.  Got 3  sump pumps to get the water
out of the basement.  Glad we haved a safety edge around the fish pond or
they might be trying to get to the Wabash.  They are still getting people
away from the river.  Needr saw so much water in my life.

I can only imagine.

We probably didn't get 9 inches of rain in the last year.  None since March
1st.

Wouldn't be so bad if this were just local, but the reservoirs are way low
and they supply both agriculture and Southern California.

We will probably be on some sort of forced rationing by the end of the month
as there is no more rain due until October.
