A woman whom I saw many, many times bringing kitties and taking kitties from
the vet and who volunteered ceaselessly for our local rescue, The Cat House,
died this weekend in a car accident. She was supposed to play Santa at this
weekends cat adoption event at Petco. I knew that the cat lovers here would
wish to send purrs for Anette McPherson, her boyfriend Ted Wiese and her son
Tyler who were all killed in the crash :(((

How very sad! =o( I'm sorry for all three of them, and for the family and
friends who will mourn them. The local cats have lost a good friend, too.

What a terrible story! That's so tragic. Purrs for their families, for
your rescue group, and for all the kitties who will miss their caretaker.

How awful.  I guess there'll be many kitties at the bridge who'll be
happy to see her.  What a tragedy!

Healing purrs for the families, and candles lit for the victims of the
crash.  It's terrible when someone dies so unexpectedly - especially around
the holidays.  It's going to be very tough for their families.

Hugs,

Purrs for heavens new angels. Car accidents are the most senseless
things I know of that takes a life, or more than one. They happen
more and more and why?  Don't get me started. I see it every day
and even the fender benders are just senseless to me. Everyone
needs to S L O W  D O W N and Karen, this isn't a message to anyone
in particular, it is a vent that is going to drive me to the funny
farm one day.

Sorry, I got carried away. Purrs.

It was very tragic. In this case it was black ice on a bridge. I know that I
myself prefer to err on the side of caution when a snow storm comes through,
but so many people just don't. It is so terribly sad and I know how close it
is to your heart. I think warnings are never out of place.

more than worth it. Nobody here could for forget what happened to Eric.

Sad purrs for those who tread the Path to the Bridge. And more purrs
for the cats Annette will no longer be helping. But she will be met at
the Bridge by so many cats that she helped.
