I posted a month or two ago (I think) about the phantom kitty I saw in the
kitchen. Recently the phantom kitty has started paying visits again.

I haven't seen this phantom meezer other than the once time. But several
times now just after I've gone to bed I've felt this gentle, delicate
kitty climb up on the foot of the mattress, wait for me to invite it up,
and curl up beside my feet. It's definitely not one of the 6 kitties in
our clowder - I'm familiar with how each of them climbs up on the
mattress, and it's not one of them. And after the kitty gets settled down
and I take a look, there's nothing there.

I don't know who this phantom cat is, but I enjoy it's visits.

Fugazi and Isis (both RB) have popped back from time to time. Not long
after Fugazi left I was getting dressed and I could hear a cat moving
around the room so I called out "Issi- what you up to?" and Dave
called from the living room "What are you talking about she;s in here"

One of the weirdest times I was asleep and dreamt that Isis was there
and playing with Dunzi and Sarsi and at the end, she left the bedroom
and went to the kitchen (she loved her food- she finished her last
meal- licked the bowl clean!) and as I then woke up and was thinking
"That was an odd dream" I realised Dunzi and Sarsi were both sitting
by the bed and looking in the direction Issi had gone in my dream

I think one of the best things about having cats in your life is that they
open your mind to many possibilities, Lee

What I forgot to mention about the last story is when I looked at the
date, it was 3 years to the day since Isis crossed the Bridge

I can only assume that she was doing her annual inspection to make
sure that the Fabulous Furballs were keeping up her very high
standards of demanding and getting the best, performing ba**ard cat
tricks, running the household etc

My cats and both dogs still visit from time to time.  less and less often as
time goes by... this could be a cat you knew in another form, or it could be
a guardian of yours or your spouses' or it could be a being that used to
reside in the house with other humans, Lee

I wonder if it's one of your former kitties, or one that used to live in
the house you bought.  In any case, it's nice to have an extra kitty who
doesn't require vet bills.  Do your other cats notice it too, or are you
the only one who knows it's there?
