I have a family member who is 85 is going under the knife tonight for open
heart bypass surgery.  Today he went for heart cauterization but the
arteries are beyond them and need to be repaired  one is ok    one is 70%
blocked and can be repaired   the other which is the main  is 90% blocked
tight so he has to go for open heart surgery tonight.

Surgery is scheduled for around 6 pm   I had to bring mom home for a while
we have be gone since 9 am this morning.   We should know something before
midnight.  Surgery is around 6 pm  and it takes with prep and down town
about 6 - 8 hours.  So we are going to be very nervous for awhile.  Even
with his age and current medical condition  the doc gives him 95%.  I am
praying for him to be right

So if you can spare some prayers and purrs for my family.  I would be very
grateful

Purrs and prayers for all.  Been through one of these,  with a family
member,  just keep taking deep breaths and know our thoughts are with you.

Purrs and prayers on the way, Matthew.  Scarey stuff.  We're hoping the
doc is correct as well.
