I have heard this said but never took it to heart until today.  My cat
Willow likes to sleep with her butt on the cat tree and her front paws
wrapped around the curtain rod.  Result is she often falls off the tree and
bends the rod.

Yesterday, I was on the ladder replacing the rod and the hammer fell off the
ladder.  When I got down, I forgot about the hammer.

This morning I went into the living and, all three cats were laying by the
hammer and had at least one front paw touching it!!  I picked it up and put
it in a drawer.  Ya never know.

The question is, was it *exactly* where you left it after it fell?

Three cats all touching the hammer, the mothership, and a bit of
levitation work maybe???

No, it was not in the same place and yes, it had claw marks where on the
orange rubber handle part! The fact that is had been moved out into the
light where I could see it is what make me wonder!
