I call her, "Poohbee"... She's my senior member in this household. She'll
be 15 in about a week or so. I have noticed lately that the litter boxes
have HUGE pee clumps in them. At first I thought it was two or three cats
peeing in the same spot, but it's not. It's just Pooh. And lately, instead
of coughing up a hairball, Poohbee has been throwing up water.. and a lot
of it. Last night, she threw up on my bed. It looked like someone threw a
glass of water all over the comforter. And when I filled the d*g's water
bowl, she took a huge dink. Then I filled the cat's water bowl in the
bathroom, and she was right there for another huge dink.
Alas, I know what's happening. I shall keep a sharp eye on her. But
Poohbee will let me know when she's tired.
God, do I ever hate this part. :(

Sounds like kidney troubles-- Don't just accept it-- I recommend you vet
her as soon as possible. As Stinky knows, they can do great with renal
problems, but you've got to catch them in time. I wasn't lucky with my
Mimi-- I seem to be lucky with Stinky, who was looking every bit his age a
month and a half ago, and is like his old self now.

But if it is renal failure, I'm not going to do the sub fluid thing. And
since that is my decision, am I a bad mommy?

It is your decision. Totally up to you. And I would not think of adding to
your stress. I was just saying you may not *have* to "just let her go" as
you were implying.

Thanks, Theresa. It's _extremely_ hard. This morning tho', she was playing
with Maui. They were really getting into it and Pooh started it!!! I'm
going to Walmart today. 'Am gonna get plenty of treats... just the kind
that she loves.
I just cleaned the litter boxes. TONS of *huge* pee clumps. :(
