Mysterious Shirt Holes

DP has several T-shirts that he loves to wear around the house DESPITE
the fact that there are multiple holes in them.  I am sorely tempted
to burn them, since as a doctor he has the money to go buy himself
more shirts and shouldn't have to wear something that a thrift shop
would reject.

However, I noticed that--very oddly--they weren't ripping on the
seams, where things usually wear out.  Instead, they had several small
holes on the shoulders, down the back, and a couple on the upper
chest.

"I don't know how it happens," said DP, as he picked up Kumani and put
her on his shoulder.  "I don't ever remember brushing up against
anything sharp."  Kumani fastened in her claws for a ride, looking
around.  "But I don't want to give up this shirt," he argued as Kumani
slid down his back, and he bent over to help her jump off.

And just like that, life's little mystery is solved.  It's obviously
pointless to buy him new shirts as they will just get CLAW HOLES in
them too!!

I had a similar mystery with a few of my dress shirts. I don't let Cleo ride
me while wearing my dress shirts anymore.

We don't have closet doors and our cats love to jump on our shirts and
swing.  All of ours have holes in, too.  LOL.  I can relate!

Perhaps you should find out if Kevlar T-shirts are available?  :)

we have "at home" clothes and "out" clothes for this very reason, Lee
