I've been cleaning out closets today, and tossing clothes. If I
haven't worn it
in two years, out it's going.

I just tossed a red angora sweater in the discard pile, then fished it
out and folded it
on top of the cat tree. Biskit was just in heaven. She's been on it
all day.

I'm sure it'll be so covered in cat hair I'll end up tossing it
anyway, but it should be
worth at least a couple of weeks of nirvana for her. (Or wonder what
would happen if
I just tossed it in the washer)

Do that and dry it, and the kitty can probably wear it.

LOL! It would probably look better on her than it did on me. Bikkie is
definitely the angora-sweater type. She's very girly and prissy. :-)

Great use for a discard sweater!  You could always toss it in the wash just
to see what will happen.  Even if it shrinks or gets "compacted," that won't
matter because it belongs to Biskit now.

The only way I got DP to get rid of some of his beloved (but hole-
filled) t-shirts before we moved 5 years ago was with the help of
Kumani and Tyche.  They were just bitty bits then, and we either had
to find "bitty clothes" to put over their hot water bottles, or wash
out the ones we had--filled with milk-poop.  Ewww.  We went through
two items of bitty-clothes a day.  I donated jeans with holes in the
butt and stained shirts; DP sacrificed his T-shirts, cutting them in
half for a day's worth of bitty-clothes.
